SCFI HOLDS ACQUAINTANCE PARTY AND RECOGNITION FOR SCHOLARS

February 10, 2019

Sunwest Care Foundation, Inc. (SCFI) held an acquaintance party and recognition for their treasured scholars in Embarcadero Convention Hall A, Legazpi City, Albay last February 10, 2019.

High School scholars from different schools in Albay under Albay College Sponsorship Program (External Beneficiaries), Employees’ Welfare Program and other scholars from Holy Rosary Seminary and Mater Salutis Seminary enjoyed a whole day of festivities and loved the Cheering Presentation, Singing Presentation, Talent Show, and Recognition.

To make the recognition more fun and exciting, the high school and college scholars introduced themselves with a cheer. Each respective school also came up with various entertaining presentations – they prepared and performed a short skit, spoken poetry, dance, and song numbers.

Employees’ Welfare Program and Alobo scholars were the top 2 scholars who gave the most memorable cheers and went home with cash prizes. In the talent show, the top 3 scholars who went home also with cash prizes were scholars from Mater Salutis College Seminary, Camarines Sur College, and Alobo.

While other recognition programs grant Loyalty Awards, Best in Math or any particular subject, Most Cheerful, and many more traditional awards, SCFI gave fun and unique awards. The awardees were also given a plaque and certificate.

“The essence of gathering them is to establish camaraderie among SCFI sponsored members, increase their self-esteem (belongingness) and confidence and tap their potentials,” said Ms. Gemina O. Quiros, SCFI Executive Director.

SCFI will also hold a separate Recognition Program for the High School and College Scholars from Catanduanes.
