SCFI HANDS OUT GIFTS TO BICOLANO STUDENTS

December 01, 2018

Legazpi City – Sunwest Care Foundation, Inc. (SCFI) hands out gifts in a series of Christmas Parties they held for each of their partner schools – Misibis Elementary School, Lamba Elementary School, Puro Elementary School, Dapdap Elementary School, Victory Village Elementary School, Mabinit Elementary School, Bogtong Elementary School, Guinlajon Elementary School, Alobo Elementary School, Solong Primary School, and Obi Elementary School.

The parties were held from 9 AM to 12NN and 2 PM to 5 PM in different areas where each student received toys and food (spaghetti with chicken and juice), and enjoyed the games and magic tricks performed by a clown brought over by the foundation.

Sunwest Care Foundation, Inc. also handed out groceries in their Christmas Grocery Giving parties for each of their partner communities in Legazpi, Bacacay, Sorsogon, Daraga, and Catanduanes. 845 family heads and beneficiaries received PhP 500 worth of groceries for their Noche Buena.

The act of giving, without expecting anything in return, is a remarkable thing to do. SCFI wants every family to enjoy the holiday festivities with the gifts of love, as well as to show its appreciation and gratitude to strengthen its bond with each of the family. Truly, concern for the well-being of others is an unselfish act.

Ms. Gemina O. Quiros, SCFI Executive Director, expressed her sentiments towards SCFI’s gift-giving, “It’s been SCFI’s tradition of holding Christmas Giving Parties annually because that is one way of sharing happiness to children and it makes the season more memorable for them, especially to SCFI.”
